The power of our minds and thoughts can lead us to success or down a dark hole. Controlling one's thoughts is an act of self-discipline.

Meditation and quiet time have helped me to control my thought process. On your way to or from work, refrain from listening to the radio. Spend time assessing your thoughts and connecting with your inner being.
